Key steps to success

At the heart of French medical innovation, behind the Keydiag® solution, there is first and foremost a human story: that of two brothers, Jean-Noël and Antoine Ravey. And, as is often the case in great adventures, everything took shape where no one would have imagined it…

First Act – The Seeds of an Idea (2012–2016)

When practice meets intuition.

Two brothers, one lives at the pace of emergencies, diagnoses, and decisions that can change everything. The other evolves among the software infrastructures and technical challenges of industry.

• Jean-Noël Ravey, a visionary radiologist, asks himself: how can we make the practice safer, structure clinical reasoning, and effectively pass on expertise to interns?

• Alone, he begins to imagine a tool capable of enlightening and supporting medical reasoning.

• Antoine Ravey, his brother, an engineer and project manager, confronts this vision with the needs of information systems.

An idea was born…

Second Act – The Spark of Hacking Health Camp (March 2016)

When the desire to take action brings the right people together.

• A hackathon, six participants united by the heat of the thrill of action.

• In 48 hours, something happens: a clear, powerful shared vision emerges.

• The project wins people over, wins Hacking Health Camp, and, most importantly, takes shape.

• For six months, the duo works on the business plan, architecture, and deliverables.

The machine is set in motion…

Third Act – Télédiag Says Yes: The First Signs of Recognition (Late 2016)

Trust as an accelerator.

• Télédiag agrees to join the adventure

• A simple deal: two years to deliver the project.

• The duo expands: Denis Vix (developer), Lionel Reveret (innovation), and several driving forces from the medical community.

• From 2017 to 2018, two years of intense work. Antoine and Denis work full time, Jean-Noël devotes his free time to the project. Lionel and others contribute their expertise… in exchange for a future stake in the company.

Everyone gives more than just their time and knows why they are there…

Fourth Act – The Birth of Keymaging and Keydiag® V1 (Late 2018)

From intuition to enterprise.

After €400,000 in investment, the first version of Keydiag® is released.

This moment marks a turning point:

• The creation of Keymaging, now carrying the vision and intellectual property.

• Launch of Project K: €370,000 in fundraising bringing together 50 doctors.

• Establishing strong, committed, and structured medical governance.

The project takes off again…

Fifth Act – Keydiag® Today

A platform that became a companion for radiologists.

Today, Keydiag® is supported by:

• More than 500 physician investors.

• A platform developed BY and FOR radiologists… and beyond.

• A simple philosophy: guide without imposing, enlighten without replacing.

Keydiag®, is :

• The structuring of reports,

• Guidance for clinical reasoning,

• The enhancement of medical data,

• And a strong vision: putting AI at the service of medical intelligence, without ever replacing it.

And the adventure continues… It is now up to the Keymaging team to write the next chapter in the story.

It all started as a wonderful family adventure, both medical and deeply human.

Today, thanks to the vision and commitment of the Ravey brothers, Keymaging continues on its path, driven by a fundamental conviction :
